Let’s work together!
Sara Merlene-Kluth (She/Her), MA, LPC, NCC, EMDR-t
Hi, I’m Sara (she/her).
I believe counseling is a space where your story deserves to be heard with care and without judgment. Together, we will work in the present moment while thoughtfully exploring past experiences or trauma that may be impacting your life today. My goal is to support you in gaining insight, building new skills, and reconnecting with yourself in meaningful ways. I see children, adults, and families across Texas virtually. Sara also sees clients in Florida and Colorado.
I specialize in helping clients process trauma and difficult life experiences using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective, evidence-based therapy. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children, and I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative counseling environment. I welcome clients from all walks of life and at every stage of their personal journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three boys, my grandson, listening to audiobooks, watching Discovery+, and tending to my garden. My life is grounded in family, meaningful work, and caring for my pets (2 cats, 4 chickens, 1 rooster, and more fish than I can count). I also enjoy practicing yoga to stay centered and flexible.
Counseling is confidential, and you do not have to navigate this journey alone. I would be honored to work with you.
