Let’s work together!

Harmoni Kelley (she/her), Graduate Intern

Hi there! My name is Harmoni Kelley, and I'm so glad you're here.

I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Midwestern State University (MSU), and I'm completing my practicum at Vibrant Journey Counseling under the supervision of Mehik Malik, MA, LPC, EMDR-T (site supervisor), and Dr. Kayla Bryant, Ph.D., LPC-S (university supervisor).

My approach to therapy is person-centered and holistic at its core. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and that who you are can't be separated into neat little boxes. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy, compassion, and genuine presence, seeing you as a whole person as you discover your own path forward.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent more than 20 years as a touring musician, moving across genres, bands, and creative spaces. Along the way, I learned how to adapt, connect with people from all walks of life, and stay grounded through constant change. Those experiences continue to shape how I hope to show up in the therapy room: authentic, curious, and deeply committed to understanding your unique story.

I'm especially drawn to supporting people as they find meaning after life's hardest seasons. My own experience with profound loss has given me a deep appreciation for the many ways grief can shape us, and I know there is no "right" timeline for healing. I also enjoy working with people navigating anxiety, life transitions, and everyday stress, as well as women moving through perimenopause and menopause—a stage of life that deserves far more open, compassionate conversation than it often receives.

Having spent many years in my own therapeutic journey, I understand the courage it takes to be vulnerable and ask for support. My hope is that you'll find a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. Wherever you are in your journey, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

Sessions with Harmoni are $30
