Let’s work together!

LPC- Associate

Hi, I’m Ginger Freeman, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate providing online therapy to children, adolescents and adults across Texas. I offer a warm, relational, and strengths-based approach to counseling for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, identity exploration, trauma, and relationship challenges.
In today’s fast-paced, productivity-driven world, many people feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where you feel supported in building self-awareness, developing coping skills, and responding to life with greater clarity and intention.
My counseling style is warm, attuned, and collaborative, with moments of gentle directness when helpful. Clients often describe me as grounding, emotionally present, and easy to talk to. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based work, family systems perspectives, and trauma-informed care to support emotional regulation, insight, and meaningful change.
Therapy with me is responsive rather than rigid. Sessions are guided by what you need most in the moment and may include exploring relationship patterns, attachment dynamics, family-of-origin influences, practicing grounding or nervous system regulation strategies, or slowing down to better understand emotional and physical cues. I believe pacing and safety matter, and that meaningful growth happens when clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and empowered.
Outside of counseling, I value a slower, grounded pace of life. I enjoy spending time outdoors, moving my body, cooking, writing, and exploring new coffee shops with friends. These values of presence, balance, and connection also shape how I show up as a therapist. I also write a mental health–focused blog, Ginger Therapy Notebook, where I share reflections, psychoeducation, and practical tools to support emotional wellness and self-awareness.
If you’re looking for a Texas-based online therapist who offers a relational, strengths-based, attachment- and family systems–informed approach to anxiety, eating disorders, identity exploration, or relationship concerns, I invite you to reach out. Finding the right therapist is an important decision, and I’m happy to help you explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
