Let’s work together!
Ashley Hubbard (She/Her), MS, NCC, LPC-S, LMHC, EMDR-C
Ashley Hubbard, LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and EMDR-certified trauma therapist who provides trauma-informed therapy, EMDR consultation, and clinical supervision to clients and therapists across Texas through telehealth and in-person services. She is licensed in both Texas and Washington State and is deeply committed to creating spaces where healing feels safe, collaborative, and empowering.
Ashley works with adolescents and adults from all walks of life, with a particular passion for supporting women, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, trauma survivors, and helping professionals. She specializes in working with adults who have experienced sexual assault, childhood trauma, and complex relational wounds, offering care that is grounded in nervous system–informed practice and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). As an EMDR Consultant, she brings both clinical depth and attunement to the trauma recovery process.
Ashley understands that trauma, particularly sexual trauma, can deeply impact one’s relationship with their body, identity, and sexuality. Topics around sexuality are often silenced or treated as taboo, which can make healing feel isolating or overwhelming. In her work, Ashley intentionally creates a non-judgmental, affirming space where clients can safely explore these experiences, reconnect with their sense of agency, and move toward empowerment and wholeness.
Her therapeutic approach honors the belief that healing past trauma creates space for future growth. Ashley recognizes how family dynamics, early experiences, and long-standing patterns continue to shape present-day thoughts, emotions, and relationships. She meets clients where they are, offering a compassionate and grounded presence that supports meaningful, lasting change. Ashley also integrates holistic and mind-body perspectives into therapy, supporting overall wellness alongside emotional healing.
Ashley has a special interest in working with highly sensitive people (HSPs) and individuals with sensory processing sensitivity. As a highly sensitive person herself, she offers clients a space to better understand this trait, reduce shame, and learn how to navigate the world with greater self-compassion and confidence.
In addition to her work with clients, Ashley has a deep passion for supporting other mental health therapists in their own healing and professional journeys. She understands how challenging it can be for therapists to find care that allows them to fully step out of the helper role. In therapy and supervision, Ashley offers a space where therapists can set aside their clinical hats, show up as humans, and receive the same empathy and care they offer others. Her supervision and consultation style emphasizes compassionate leadership, nervous system safety, ethical practice, and sustainability—helping clinicians grow without burnout.
Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the same institution. Prior to becoming a counselor, she worked as an academic advisor with college students, an experience that strengthened her love for helping people navigate life transitions and find clarity in moments of uncertainty. She believes deeply in the importance of a positive counseling experience and is committed to helping clients and supervisees feel safe, respected, and supported when discussing life’s most difficult experiences.
Outside of her clinical work, Ashley enjoys reading young adult fiction, traveling, and exploring history. Her dream destination is Scotland, and she has a long-standing love for superheroes, Harry Potter, and baseball.
